Great result obtained by two girls from Bolzano: Yasmine Hamza and Katharina Fink (recpectively Italian LS Champion 2019 and Italian LS Vice-Champion 2019), both members of SBS - Südtirol Badminton School, who reached the semifianl during Slovenia BE Junior Circuit held in Mirna last week-end.
Yasmine overcoming in the Ladies single draw the following opponents: Gyöngyvér Bordàs/HUN with the score: 21/5, 21/6, Judith Mair/ITA with the score: 21/14, 21/15, Weronika Gorniak/POL with the score: 17/21, 21/15, 21/18, yielding entry in the final after a long match against the seeded player n.2 of the tournament (Marija Sudimac/SRB) with the score: 19/21, 21/14, 19/21.
Katharina , on the other hand, overcome Zara Zuran/SLO in the first round with the score: 21/6, 21/6, Marie Ruzickova/CZE with score: 21/8, 21/12 and finally won the quarter final against Katerina Zuzakova/CZE (seeded player n.4 of the tournament) with the score: 21/17, 15/21, 21/13; the semi-final was lost against seeded n.1 player (Vivien Sandorhazi/HUN) with the score: 11/21, 6/21.
Katharina and Yasmine in the Ladies Double have grazed the entrance in the final (after winning the first set and leading 19/17 in the second set against the winner of the tournament: Lucie Krpatova/Katerina Zuzakova).
In conclusion 3 Bronze medals at the beginning of the season that give good hope for the future!
